ever blazing barrowman

The proudly courageous John Barrowmann is one of our all time heroes!!! He is a very openly gay man, very successful actor and a very handsome man. What is great about John is that he leaves an impression on most people, no matter how bland and ordinary he looks. He may be the man to bring home to your mother and ease her worries about your homosexual lifestyle, but he is also a fighter, in a not so subtle way.
John has managed to get a message out to the world, that hey, its ok to be gay, and if you have a problem with it, then get over it. Taken from the fantastic, fighting homophobe campaign - 'Some People Are Gay. Get OVER It!

Only a truly brave person can put his feet first and challenge the system his career is up against, and this guy seems to do it so effortlessly. He still manages to be hugely successful in both Television Series, such as Torchwood, where his character is very open about their sexuality. Then you have is enourmously huge Theatre career, the next step for this man is major motion pictures, and I will be the first in the ticket line up to support what should be a very huge career for this non seemingly larger then life actor. What surprises me most about him is his plainness, which is not a bad thing, he is a very ordinary looking fellow, very handsome and cute, yet still curiously wonderful and mysterious.  Normally I am not attracted to this type of person, but it is more what this man, John Barrowman does, that makes him attractive, then what he looks like.
He may be extremely attractive, but what I find attractive is how he has chosen to approach his career and how he stands to be his own! Live Queer and Normal. All Hail John Barrowman!!!

Bring back the Brannan!!!

Jay Brannan played one of the cutest, hottest and sexiest actors in Shortbus, our never ending queer faveourite film. However since then he has not been in much. We are not sure why, as he clearly had alot of taltent and was not so bad to look at either, but we have also learned and heard that he is a clearly talented musician, and perhaps, we are putting dots together, maybe that is where his passion is and what  his focus is now on. As his songs are very cute and he has no trouble in pulling a crowd, this is for sure a good career move, however, we want him back on the silver screen.
Someone cast him asap!!!

does REX LEE have an Entourage?

One of the best characters on this show, the one character that actually has a real connection to another character, albeit, a very obnoxious character, Jeremy Pivens 'Ari Gold', Rex Lee's gay asian assistant 'Lloyd' is by far one of the funniest gays on television!
'Lloyd' seems to be the assistant I can relate to, working for someone who be-littles you at every moment and makes your life hell, knowing how much you want to succeed and not caring, but secretly caring. Yet, 'Lloyd' still seems to have some respect and love for this man 'Ari'. I wander how much of Rex Lee's personal experience has gone into this character?
I also wander how Rex Lee's life has changed by playing this character and how close these two really are to each other. It's time I start researching the wander that is Rex Lee, and maybe I can one day be in his Entourage, cuz he clearly deserves one!

off to the sea !!!

Daniela Sea was first on our radar when we saw her in "short bus", one of the best queer movies of all time! She then popped up again in "Itty Bitty Titty Committee" and then as a series regular in "The L Word" playing female to male trans Max.
Daniela is paving her way through film and tv taking on many great queer roles and we hope we see her in many many more. She has a very striking on screen presence and as much as we loved "The L Word" they seriously underused her and gave her very lame lines. We hope that someone else taps into her talent and blows it up on to the big screen again for all of us to enjoy!

HOT HOT HOT

Simon Amstell!!!!! We knew him as the present from the British Quiz Show "Never Mind The Buzzcocks" and were fascinated with him and then find out he is out and openly out and hot and cute and really fucking funny!!! He is also a stand up comedian and performs constantly around the mother country. Check out this clip from the Buzzcocks below with Amy Winehouse.

we want to see him in more and more and more, and maybe in less and less and less !!!

in this one Amy spits!

CUMMING

Is the name of his fragrance, but androgyny is the name of his game. Alan Cumming Describes his sexuality as Bi-sexual, but that is just his sexuality, his persona, his entire personality is QUEER and this is what we love about him.

From his earliest Hollywood productions you could sense the Queer that is Alan Cumming, from the last dance in "Romy and Micheles high School Reunion" to his latest forway into Cable Televisions "The L Word". Alan is the man made to play great queer roles.

He has one of the most Androgynous faces in the world as well as a very Androgynous talent. In each role you see Alan Cumming, you also see someone new. It is a rare gift that someone can keep their individuality as an actor yet believably portray a completely different persona on screen.

Alan Cumming has the talent of a thousand oscar winners and is an Idol of ours! We want to see him in more and more great queer roles and hope that you can, if you have not already, discover his genious!

Leisha Hailey - WE MISS YOU

When we first got into watching the L Word, it was not until season 3, so the first two we kinda missed out on, but after season 4, we fell in love with Leisha Hailey, who possibly played one of the strongest most out spoken lesbian on Television and apparently, we dont know for sure, is also very out spoken in real life too!!!

We think she is the bees knees, simply a joy to watch every scene she was in and what was most upsetting about the L Word being cancelled is that we knew sadly it may be a while before we would see her again on our screens.

There was rumour of her getting a spin off series, but apparently that did not take. I remember lots of people saying how annoying she was and how her voice made them want scratch their eyes out, but I found her voice and everything about this actress inspiring.

Maybe it was her character, or maybe it was the way she portrayed 'Alice' either way, she made me into an unlikely fan and i hope hope hope that one day we see her again, in another queer focused role playing another strong character!!!! Come Back Leisha, we miss you!!!!
