MY QUEER DREAM

PRIME TIME ABOUT TIME !

Luke Macfarlane is one of the most interesting new out actors around. I say this because I have been curious about him for a while after seeing "Brothers and Sisters" and wandered, really, is he or isn't he? Then I find out and read, yes, he is openly gay AND to top it all off, is playing a very well rounded, sensible and one of the only characters that seem to make sense on this show where everyone is completely complicated and getting themselves into more and more shit. His character seems to think before he acts. Which leads me to asking, does Mr Luke also think before he made the choice to play a gay character on a very well esteemed Television program screened on the very two face ABC network.  A network that has me confused since the editing out and bannishment on Adam Lambert, but then the support to the gay storylines in this "oh so wholesome" program, which in alot of ways, is not so wholesome, just grown up and full of fantastic writing.
I LOVE that Macfarlane is playing this character and I love that the execs at ABC gave this character to him and I hope he gets more and more GREAT roles for his portrayal of this gay character because I think he is doing a great job of it and is just showing how more and more Gay Actors should be playing Gay Characters on the Screen!!!!!

Justin Bond

The other week we were watching one of our Favourite naughty delights, "Ugly Betty", and saw, beneath shaded glasses, a familiar face, after a quick imdb research, our theories were confirmed. The beautiful Justin Bond (who we were first introduced to in the Queer-o-rama film "Short Bus" by John Cameron Mitchell) was there, playing the tranny version on Fay Sommers.

He is AMAZING! in almost everything he does, he does with such grace and style, all the while he does it by being true to his queer self. He is an idol and I will enjoy watching everything that comes from this man.

I had the fortune to meet him one night in my brief New York visit at a very queer party, and he was all I imagined, amazing, delicate, fabulous, glamorous and completely queer to the bone.
I hope we get to see him in more Films and hopefully more Television shows!

OUR LOVE TO PORTIA !!!

One of our Favorite Lesbians in the whole world finally played a lesbian character on one of our most beloved shows "Nip Tuck", Portia De Rossi !!!!
Recently Portia has married her long time girlfriend Ellen Degenerous and also became very active in speaking out about Marriage Equality. We love her for this and especially for one of her speaches on "The View"(see the link below)

BUT
What is most lovable about PORTIA is that she is completely UNFORGIVING about being a homosexual actress!!! That is who she is and she loves it!!!!

our you tube space

When we find clips on queer actors in queer films, we will post them right here. until you tube deletes them of course. which sometimes can happen. lets hope it will not though!
