Queers On Screen

With your help, we want to highlight and congratulate the out and proud queer actors & filmmakers who are not afraid to make stories for queers!
Those who don't care to be labelled and or type cast and who are brave enough to challenge the system and potentially change the way people think and portray queer, well, we love them!.
Please send us through any known queer actors who have played and or are playing queer characters in either film and or television!
Also, if you know of Queer Filmmakers making Queer Films, we would love to know the details so we can promote them here!!!

IT'S A TIME FOR A GAY CAT FIGHT

And we are hoping we get it with GLEE.
On Tuesday we witnessed something rather wonderful, Kurt, speaking his mind, tell the boy going after his boy, that he doesn't like him. The insults were flown with such elegance and grace, it was like watching a work of art. We look forward to see Kurt pulling out his claws, only to elegantly paw at his prey!
Good times ahead! Keep it coming Glee. You are all we have right now.

ITS BEEN A DRY WEEK

at least on the TV front. not one show i managed to see this week had an interesting queer storyline happening. it was just nothing. they did try to raise some kind of issue on The Good Wife, but apart from that, was a very dissapointing time. And film wise. Nothing stood out good enough to report and say, hey, wow, check this out. Maybe it is just an off week, maybe at the start of the year, the greatness will come again. Who knows. Till then, lets just post some nice pictures of some queer actors that are proud and strong enough to play queer characters!
sean mayher

heather mattarazoo... god, how do we spell that??

ian mckellen

peter paige - speaking of, we saw a new film he was in, and because it was so bad, we just will not mention the title. maybe no one will notice, because he really is too good, for something that was just too bad.

AUGUST by ELDAR RAPAPORT

An expansion of the award-winning short film “Postmortem,” “August” tells the story of two former lovers, Troy and Jonathan, who reunite after a long ago painful breakup. After spending several years in Spain, Troy returns to Los Angeles and decides to phone Jonathan and meet for coffee. A seemingly innocent rendezvous turns flirtatious as they are intensely swept away by each other’s presence and memories of the past.

This is Eldars first feature, and after seeing his previous Queer Shorts, we must say we are very impressed. Stay with this out there Director! He is one to watch!

Hallo Spain !

Hello Juanma Carrillo,
A Queer Short Filmmaker making some of the most fascinating queer shorts making the rounds at the moment!
"fuckbuddies"
Most recently, the quick witted 'Fuckbuddies' about two guys who meet for a lunch time sex break, which goes awkwardly in the back seat of a car, if anyone else here has tried that, we all know these positions, whilst they can be fun, they are also a little uncomfortable. But the best thing about this film is the dialogue during and after the sexual dalliance. So sweet, so funny, and so cute.
He is a must watch director, and lets keep our fingers crossed he continues to make great queer stories for us!

wednesday night queer night

in heaven! well. tv heaven,
a great modern family and a great american horror story!
ps. have we said how much we love Jesse Tyler Ferguson? He is just the sexiest actor ever! And his character is sooo annoyingly real to alot of friends we have, which makes us love him more!

I NEVER WANT TO PUT MY DICK IN YOU

ONE OF THE BEST LINES IN TELEVISION  HISTORY EVER!!!!

Seriously! We never thought we would see these words spoken on a main stream tv show, that was not specifically made for a gay audience, although I am sure the gays are LOVING this series because it is just trash and trash that we love to love and lap it up so very well. Tonight we also got to see the lovely Teddy Sears butt and Zachary Quinto in a lovely latex number!!! Damm he looked sooo cute! And we are sOO Soo happy seeing him shine in his Gay Ghost Role!!!!
Thank you again ryan murphy!

DUSTIN LANCE BLACK

Is someone doing something really good. We find it hard to put into words how what DUSTIN LANCE BLACK does is making a difference, but we feel it is. By him being an openly gay and outspoken activist writing main stream released film with very strong gay theme storys, well, he is putting it out there. He is being a Queer on Screen and making people pay attention. We have such HUGE respect and are very excited to see the new film he did "J Edgar"

It's all about having someone to love

Or at least that is what they are trying to get across on GLEE.
This weeks episode was about Rachel and Finn having their first time and Kurt and Blaine going for it as well. but there was a problem in the mix for both. The problem for Kurt and Blaine, was the new character - sebastian. An evil warbler who has all your classic devil with a smile looks about him, and a very seductive way, but has no heart. So naturally, we can expect your classic, jealous scenarios coming up. How will they deal with it, oh the dramas of being a teenager, experiencing love and possibly loosing it, sex and the dangers etc etc. While it seems like these should be interesting enough stories, it all kind of seemed a little blah. Kurt is an amazing character, Blaine is just a bore. Glee was fun, but when they have episodes with out Sue Silvester, it really lags. Dont want to sound nagging here, I am so happy this show exists, but want it to go a little further. Apparently the network is very happy with Ryan Murphy and willing to let him do his thing, so why can't he make his thing a little more exciting and a little more real.
Question. How often do young gay men find other young gay men in small towns, fall in love and have the perfect first time?
Check out the typical new character. YAWN!

then see him holding a cute dog.

which is better? i dont know.

XAVIER DOLAN

Is in Post Production with his new film "Laurence Anyways"
and if it is like his previous two films 'I Killed My Mother' and 'HEARtBEATS' then we are in for a treat! Xavier has a great talent in both writing, and directing, plus, Acting! He gets his queer on in everything he does, and it really shines! We love it and really look forward to his new film!
